Hi all,

If you are planning to come to the next City of Sanctuary national network meeting in Oxford on 17th November please could you let me know (and I can tell you the venue!). The meeting will be 11am to 2pm, but I can also offer a short workshop on how to post articles and photos on the CoS website after the meeting, for anyone who would find that helpful. You might want to bear this in mind if booking a return train.

1, Local Group Updates

I've added a couple of things to the 'resources' section of the website (www.cityofsanctuary.org/resources) which some of you may find helpful:

An outline of a poster (in Word) to adapt for publicising events, and

A simple constitution document.

If anyone has produced anything better in the way of posters, leaflets etc please let me have a copy, or if you know any friendly designers who might like to do us some better-looking publicity materials cheaply (or free).

Funding

The next network meeting will be on Wednesday 17th September, 11am to
2pm in Nottingham, not 16th July in Leicester as suggested in the Network News.

Since the national City of Sanctuary conference last month we have heard about initial meetings of CoS working groups in London, Bristol, Nottingham, Swansea, Oxford and Bradford.

Please let us know if you are planning a local working group in your area, and keep in touch with news of your progress. Your feedback about the conference or suggestions for next year's would also be very helpful.
