Nottingham City of Sanctuary
We are working towards Nottingham becoming a City of Sanctuary. In the city and county, we already have flourishing but hard-pressed groups who help people seeking sanctuary to become part of the wider community. We want to help local groups and individuals to welcome and appreciate people seeking refuge and asylum more actively.

Vice-chair: John Henson

Further members are welcome on the committee.
Nottingham hosts national network day - Wed Sept 17
Submitted by Jonathan Silvey on Mon, 08/09/2008 - 13:03.
On Wednesday, Sept 17th, we are hosting the national network, from 11 to 2 at the Friends Meeting House, 22 Clarendon Street. Each group represented will tell us what they are doing and how - a great way toget ideas and share experiences.
Whether or not you are a 'member' of the Nottingham group, come and learn about the movement! A light lunch will be provided.
