Open Hands Charity Update Evening - 19 May

Open Hands Charity houses and helps some of Sheffield's poorest people - failed asylum seekers who would otherwise be destitute and homeless. The work was established in 2007 through a small group of local Christians. Now the charity is established and hoping many others will share the vision and opportunities to make a practical difference in people's lives. You are invited to Cream Café to hear more about the project's successes so far (including how 7 men have been housed and befriended in one year who would otherwise have been homeless) and our vision for the future, including plans for a second house aimed at housing women. Hear how you can be involved, from donations to practical service and friendship. Meet the team and be inspired. Cream Café, 1 Crookes Rd, Broomhill  (corner opposite Yorkshire Bank) 7.45 pm on Tuesday 19th May.  http://www.openhandsproject.co.uk/
