Nottingham hosts national network day - Wed Sept 17
Submitted by Jonathan Silvey on Mon, 08/09/2008 - 13:03.
On Wednesday, Sept 17th, we are hosting the national network, from 11 to 2 at the Friends Meeting House, 22 Clarendon Street. Each group represented will tell us what they are doing and how - a great way toget ideas and share experiences.
Whether or not you are a 'member' of the Nottingham group, come and learn about the movement! A light lunch will be provided.
Then, as our meeting ends, in the next room another meeting of interest starts. It is a presentation about the Community Garden Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina which focuses on those who were displaced by the 1992-95 war. All the gardens maintain a multi-national mix among participants as part of the much-needed post-war reconciliation in the country. Eight representatives from Bosnia will be there.

Another meeting of interest will be starting as we finish in the same building – a presentation by the Community Garden Association of Bosnia & Herzegovina. This group offers people displaced by the 1992-95 war work therapy and food security to participants in multi-faith gardens. The meeting runs from 2 to 4 and eight Bosnian participants will be there. All welcome.
