On Friday 27 June at 7.30pm, we are holding the first meeting of a seed group to set up Nottingham City of Sanctuary. The meeting will take place at the Friends Meeting House, 25 Clarendon Street, Nottingham.

All are welcome, however little or much you might be able to offer to do! Every little, including support, helps!  

We want Nottingham, like Sheffield and Leicester, to become known as a City of Sanctuary. We already have flourishing but hard-pressed groups in Nottingham who help people seeking sanctuary to become part of the wider community. We want Nottingham itself to welcome, integrate, and appreciate refugees and those seeking asylum more actively.
